Hello Matt,
One more question. If I choose to do it by custom SQL commands, how would I get the text box node value in the where clause?
Appreciate your help,

oSecondary.QueryAdapter.Command = ''SELECT * FROM customTable WHERE id > 12'';

Try Set "Domain(the Form can ....)" from form option > security.
If that can't solve the problem, try setting the Internet Option > Security, and then custom level, set Enable for "Access data sources accross domain"

Thank u Matt...very interesting answer. But don't adding views to the template make the XSN file bigger, with more startup time? How the dimension and complexity of XSL view involves startup time and edit time?
Thank u!

I found out what was wrong. Apparently User Roles in Infopath don't work too well within a Windows 2000 environment, they however work in an XP system.

Shanthi,
Thank you so much for your reply. I've been able to get back to thi issue, and maybe time has helped, but i compltlly understand what your telling me what to do. But when i add that to my ''On-Load'' function , i get an error. ''Object expected'' is the error and does not work. Any idea?
