    SQL Statement (Customizing)

    Hi,
Is it possible to pass a variable from infopath to sql thru the dataconnection?
ie, When you go to tools-> data connections->Select your DC->Edit SQL -> is it possible to pass a variable thru here (where CID = @contactname)? And if so how is this done? I am trying to select certain records from the db based on a text nodevalue within the form and was wondering if there is anyway i can pass the textbox node value to the 2ndary connection via the SQL statemnent.

Any tips or help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Vidette

You can do custom SQL commands, but not that way. Check out this thread for a code example:
