Howdy, this is my first post. I'm creating a repeating table with one field that must be unique from other instances of the same field on differant rows. I can't have any duplicate data in this field. I'd like to use a pop up window to announce this error. Also,the field will be capturing both alpha and numeric data.

As I understand it, the submit status of a form will be disabled if any field in the form is connected to a database field that has a ''long'' data type, e.g. memo fields. You are limited to the 255 characters of a text field.
I suppose a workaround would be to use a web service to submit the data, or to split the data up into two fields requiring ...

Try adding a default wait value in between your XDocuments.Open call and the View.Export.
The XDocument probably hasn't completed the transform of the page yet.
Also, there maybe a property or method you can use that tells you the 'state' of a loading/loaded document, but you'll have to look for it, because I'm not 100% positive that InfoPath ...

Look at Adobe or OpenOffice. Both have support groups and whatnot from where you can request further information/help.

Reading the thread link you provided helped me in that I was using characters in my data connection wizard file name. Some of the formulas I tried are;
concat(lastName, '', '', firstName, ''_NEIS'')
concat(lastName,''_'',firstName,''_NEIS'')
concat(lastName, firstName, '' NEIS'')
All of which have no errors when ...

I thought that you do not need Outlook 2003 to send email. If Outlook 2003 is not present on the machine, email should be sent using Outlook Express the default mail client available with windows. Is outlook express set up on your machine?

When you submit to Sharepoint you are submitting the xml of the main DOM. so regardless of which view you submit from you will be submitting all of the xml. One way that i can think of to submit only the data in the view to a particular form library is ti delete all of the other data from the xml and then submit it.
