  • SaveAs method

I am new to the forum, so would appreciate any help I can get. I am trying to call the SaveAs method in the onSubmitRequest function in jscript. I am passing it a field value and path as the file path/name. I keep getting the error saying that the file has no name. • Setup Namespaces for a Secondary Data Source

An often overlooked fact about accessing a secondary data source via code behind an InfoPath form is the need to setup the correct namespaces. Tutorials presented throughout the Internet often presume that the process for setting up namespaces is already known and do not mention it when they give code snippets with different namespaces. Some very ...

  • Re: Tolower case

Ok the ''error'' i was getting only happened in design mode. It works just fine in realtime run mode. From what i have read , the error, i was getting happens when it expects a value. And of course in design mode there is no value.

  • Re: Alternative to InfoPath !

Man, that's gotta sting. I know creating web forms with PHP/MySQL is universally compatible. ASP.NET sometimes forces use of Internet Explorer, but who knows. Good luck! --------------- Matt Faus InfoPath Dev Texas
