• Re: Record count in a data connection...

I think you should be able to do this: var recordCount = XDocument.GetDOM( ''vReportWebWarenkorb'' ).selectNodes( ''XPath/To/Nodes'' ).length; If it gives you an error about namespaces, you will need to setup a reference to the DOM before calling selectNodes() and make sure to use the .setProperty() to add the namespace prefixes. Hope this ...

  • Re: Form to Form cooperation

Is there a reason you cannot use multiple views on one form? This makes passing data between views much easier. To insert a new View, click Design Tasks, Views, and Add View at the bottom. Hope this helps!

  • Re: Clicking disabled button crashes InfoPath

I just tried this with SP2 and could not reproduce, maybe it was one of the fixes? Anyway, good eye and thanks for the info!

  • Add Custom Buttons to the Repeating Table and Section Widget

A powerful technique to add extra functionality to a form without cluttering up a design that has been perfected is to add custom buttons to the widget menus of repeating tables and sections. Although this is not an easy task, it is definitely attainable through InfoPath’s open standard application model, and once completed will provide a ...

  • Re: Stop script executing

If your code is inside of a JScript function, can't you just issue a return statement to end the processing of the function? Or am I oversimplifying?

  • Re: Expected ';' File:script.js - when opening form

Cool, I'm glad you're starting to get the hang of it! I noticed a few bugs in your code and I have made some revisions: var row = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:SORDetails/my:RepeatingData'') ; row = row.cloneNode(true) ; row.selectSingleNode(''my:SORQTY'').text = ''QTY'' ; row.parentNode.appendChild(row) ; Hope this helps!

  • Re: Add Sharepoint List Items with InfoPath

Hi Neal and welcome to the forum! I don't know what else to tell you, except to check and double-check the CAML template. That template is the key to unlocking the SharePoint web service. If you are still having trouble it might be helpful to post what you are using as CAML template now and also information on the schemas of all your data ...

  • Re: How to Deploy InfoPath in the Remote Machine

I think if you use makecab (installed by default on most Windows platforms) you can propery change the extension to .xsn directly and it will work.

  • Re: Machine Name and IP Address in InfoPath Form

Hi wood and welcome to the Forum! This sounds like it would require a Full Trust form. Once you have this, you should be able to run command line programs such as ipconfig /all that would give you the information you need. To call the command line programs you will probably need to instantiate a WScript object.

  • Re: the everlasting current() problem: with repeating

Hi tzintzi and welcome to the forum! Sorry for the late response, and thank you for the slideshow! Instead of using a default value formula on the description field, try adding a rule on the Code/Id field that updates the description field appropriately. I have had the same problem that you are describing before, and adding the rule fixed ...
