Hi janice,
I think you committed one small mistake while creating the data connection which is used to submit the forms to a share point form library.
Replace http://inside/sites/hril/HRIssueTracking/forms/AllItems.aspx” it with
http://inside/sites/hril/HRIssueTracking” for the SharePoint form library name while creating the data connection.

Hi,
Here is the code which you want in script:
var oEmail = XDocument.DataAdapters(''Email Submit'');
oEmail.To = abc@xyz.com;
oEmail.CC = xyz@abc.com;
oEmail.Subject = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''xpath of the text box which you want to use'');
oEmail.Intro = ''Email body'';
oEmail.Submit();

I have a Customer information form that I have created and published as a template in a WSS site.
I would like to write a report in Infopath that would pull information from a certain control in the forms into a report.
Also is there a way to tie Infopath in with Outlook Public Folder address list? The reason I ask is that I have a large address ...

Ok, I have a form that is used when a new user needs access. The hiring manager inputs the new users name and what they need (access to certain applications, hardware, and additional services).
I would like to make a list of Applications (probably about 15 choices), Hardware (probably about 5 choices), and Services (probably about 5 choices) ...

You can use one of the two forms below. Check out the MSDN blog for more detail explanation.
count(parent::*/preceding-sibling::*) + 1 - assuming all nodes in the parent nodeset are of the same type, otherwise:
count(parent::*/preceding-sibling::<type>) + 1 where <type> is the type of the parent ...

thisApplication.ActiveWindow.Close(true) is for c#. The problem you had was due to the casing issue (and it's my fault, I had typo in my suggestion).
The MSDN library is a good place to start:http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/odc_2003_ta/html/odc_ancInfo.asp

Hi JimDandy,
Yes you can do what you need to do with InfoPath. Here is a good ''how to'' from Greg Collins that should get you started on how you can do this:

Trying all options presented ... this one worked:
Application.ActiveWindow.Close(true);
Where can I find help on the object model and these types of commands? I have a subscription to safari.informit.com, and am reading Patrick Halstead's Developing Solutions with Microsoft InfoPath. Are there any other great resources I should know about ...

Well, take that back. My version didn't work. Neither did this:
thisApplication.ActiveWindow.Close(true);
Any other thoughts why mine wouldn't be working?
Thanks!
