 I wonder if you just provided a direct link to the template (like on the home page of your site) if a link would open the form in filler from other browsers. You may have to add the noredirect URL parameter.

 So - the people picker is set to allow multiple selections? Or is the "PeoplePicker (Group)" repeating? I think the people picker control needs to only allow single selections, and the group it is in should be set to repeat. Then you'll have an instance of your title and phone field for each person selected.

I have a repeating table and a people picker as one of the fields. The people picker brings back the Title and phone of the person selected. I have the people picker in the repeating table so it can be used to select different people per row, but the Title and Phone fields placed under the people picker section in the source fields heiarchy ...

Hi Hillary, Thanks for the quick reply -- I did see the checkboxes to remove the functionality entirely, but I do want to allow them to save locally which is what makes this a little more difficult.  I copied the XML file back to the library with a new name and the view shows blanks under all the columns.  I also started opening some of the other InfoPath forms in the library and I see the same thing happenings with a lot of them.  Some of them on the same day are fine and others have this same issue.  I have no idea what ...

Here's a sample with a validation rule - save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode. From there you can preview, check rules, etc.

I think under Form Options > Web Browser you can select and deselect Ribbon options (thus removing the Save As option). You can also restrict saving for filler forms under save options.
