You could do this easily with rules on the checkbox or with code in the OnAfterChange event.
1. To add rules double-click the checkbox, and then click the Rules button.
2. Click Add, set the condition so that the rule fires when checkbox is equal to TRUE, click OK.
3. Click Add Action.
4. Choose change a field's value - use the formula boxes to ...

You cannot create a new one. But you can modify an existing one by extracting your form files and editing the XSL for each view. Then just don't touch the color schemes again after that or you'll lose your changes.

Double-click your check box control and then click Rules.
You can add rules to copy the value of one field to another. Set up as many copy actions as you need to in your rule.

I've created a number of forms based on a medium complexity SQL datsbase schema and all work quite well. Unfortunately our enterprise blocks database ports so noone outside of the network can benefit from the forms. I would like to switch now to using xml datasources so each form can be viewed without needing access to a db connection.
How do I ...

Hi Tracy,
Am I correct to assume that you're trying to do this without writing any code? If you are writing some code, you can refer to the Asset Tracker sample that ships with InfoPath. If you are trying not to use code, you should be able to create a rule that increments a counter stored in a secondary XML data file (data connection) and refer ...

I'd like to add a check box which when clicked indicates that the invoice and billing address are the same. On clicking this box I'd lke to either copy the Invoice address data to the Delivery address fields or link to them in some way.
Does anyone know how I ...
