Hi Ken,
Is DBXL installed on the SharePoint - 80 site? I would guess yes if the SharePoint mapping with Object Model saved successfully.
I would check whether all your machines/users belong to the same domain, and whether they have added the server that hosts DBXL to their Internet Explorer's Local Intranet sites.
Let us know what you ...

Hi-
I think you can add a new column. This new column will be set to a calculated value based on another column.
I'm attaching a screenshot to illustrate this.
Then you can hide the original column (i.e. not include it in the view) and only display this one, with the "trimmed" string.
Good luck!

Hi Ken-
I don't remember seeing this before. Do you have access to the server where DBXL is installed? If so, please check the event viewer. Within it, there is a log for Qdabra. I'd be interested to know whether an error shows up at the time of the failed submit. If there is no error under Qdabra, check Application.

Hi Ken,
All Node Paths (on the right had side of your screenshot) need to be relative. So, for example, the node path for the Date will need to be relative to the parent.
Usually DAT is good about preserving this. What I mean is: select the Node Path of the Table, and then select the Node Path for each column (always using the taskpane), and ...

Well, luckily, in InfoPath 2010, you can click this button (screenshot attached) in the Rules taskpane and copy all rules. Then click Paste next to it to paste all rules.
So even if InfoPath keeps splitting your rule into two, you can still copy/paste in easy steps.
Good luck!

Hi-
I'm thinking that you have a data connection that retrieves data from a SharePoint list. When you create this data connection, you'll have a screen where you can select the columns you wish to return. These columns will be available as queryfields (to filter) and as data fields (the data returned to the form). So if you have a ...

Hi Brian,
Which Report Builder is this, the one created by Qdabra Software?

Hi-
I think we need to check the save location. The user opens the XML, clicks the link for the attachment, and the attachment opens. The user makes a change and saves the attachment. At this point, we need to check where the attachment was saved. Was it saved to a temporary location on the user's machine? Or if you check via File > Save ...

Hi-
Do if you upload a file thru any other method, this does not happen?
The reason I ask is because qRules does not set permissions on the uploaded documents. The permissions are determined by SharePoint itself.
Let us know what you find. Thanks.

When this happens the first thing I check is the form submit data connection. You want to have a constant field name used for the form title, and not a form title that will change with every submit. If the form title changes with every submit, then you'll get many forms created.
So, for example:
1. add a field called FormName
2. set up a ...
