Here's an MSDN link to get you started. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: Check Box Controls I'm not sure what you mean about data connections - is your form database bound (i.e., created off a database?). At any rate, a set of radio buttons is all bound to the same node. So if you require separate fields for each option for some reason, you will be stuck with using conditional formatting as described above. Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: Extreme newbie question--adapting an MSDN example to add items to a SharePoint list Well, the drop down is using a ShP list for its values, right? So you could use the ShP ID for the value and whatever column you want for the display. Then you have the ID number in your main data source. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: Check Box Controls Why not use radio buttons instead? They work this way by default - only one can be selected at a time. But sure, you can do this with conditional formatting. On Checkbox 2 &3, have conditional formatting that disables them if 1 is equal to true. On Checkbox 1 & 2, have conditional formatting that disables them if 3 is equal to true. ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: Extreme newbie question--adapting an MSDN example to add items to a SharePoint list I think you can - it is just a matter of syntax. You need to submit the data in the format that the lookup expects - SharePoint list item ID, semicolon, pound symbol, and display value (although it may be possible to just submit the ID, you should experiment with this). For example, 1;#mydisplay I'm attaching a screenshot from an owssvr.dll ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: Can’t open form in Browser! Qrules 3.1 injected in IP / SP 2010 Hi - just wanted to post that we've gotten your forms, I've found & fixed the qRules injector issue that sometimes caused that data connection to have an incorrect path - that fix will be in qRules 3.3. To avoid that issue in previous versions of qRules, inject your browser form prior to publishing to SharePoint. I'm able to repro ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: skInfopathKit - Looking for feedback and testing of first 'Alpha release' - Comes with View Clone feature Well, from what I saw of your code, you are resetting the publish path for the form, right? And if a form has been published to SharePoint, you should be able to just change the publishUrl, which I see you are doing a line down. So perhaps wrap the bit setting xsf2:share/@path in an if? If this were C#, I'd do something like: XPathNavigator ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-20-2011 Re: skInfopathKit - Looking for feedback and testing of first 'Alpha release' - Comes with View Clone feature The Access form is nice looking. So you know, I'm using InfoPath 2010 / Access 2010. I had an error adding a form - on this line: xmlDoc.selectSingleNode("//xsf2:share/@path").Text = strNewPublishPath The exception was "Object variable or With block variable not set" I tried again, after publishing the form to a network ... Qrules 3.1 injected in IP / SP 2010 Hi - I'm wondering if your qRules data connection was somehow changed to point to an external XML rather than internal. Can you open the data connection dialog, and click on the QdabraRules data connection, then look in the details, see where the XML file location is? I'm attaching a screenshot that may help explain better.
