You would need to go through the reference or do some searching. I am pretty sure there is a property to return file name. I think I have seen posts on it before.

I am not sure it is possible.
You would need to put line feed characters in the footer text.
I have had to manually manipulate the footer before.
Extract source files and then open the Manifest.xdf with notepad. Do a find for your footer and then you can edit it directly and play with ASCII characters for LF/CR.
Let us know what happens.

It would require InfoPath Form Service, which is part of MOSS 2007 or can be licensed from Microsoft.
You may want to investigate the Database Accelerator Package as it includes a Form Viewer for your server to render the form and it is much cheaper.
The only issue I see is that printing from Internet Explorer might not be what you need. You ...

What you need to do is rearchitect a bit.
Have your repeating table but move the drop down selection within the repeating table and bind it to the part number field. Put it in the initial column where you might display part number anyway. Setup the source to your secondary connection which queries all records in the Table.
Then the ...

Ok from looking at the screen shots I think I understand what you are doing.
I think your bigger need is you want to know who is completing the form.
If you knew who the user was filling the form then that could be stored within it.
The answer is a Active Directory Web Service. This will give you the current user and you can look up their ...

I have not tried this but I thought it was possible to use promoted properties.
Have you tried updating a seperate list via your form and a CAML? That could be one work around. Setup data connection to insert to a list that could be your trigger or workflow parameters.

Hey Joseph.
I believe sorting must be done in code for exisitng data. Also I believe you would still need a seperate list for each so that each can be stored seperately.
Have you thought about using web services instead? They perform much better and with the ones included in the Database Accelerator Package, you could actually perform ...

So you want to display the created date and modified date of the form by looking this up from its own library.
The quick and easy method is to store the name in the form so you can filter your list for this information.
I will assume you are creating a form name by concatenating some fields together.
Add one new field to your form called ...

Calculate the ID but store it in your form and reuse it each time.
Since you are using SharePoint you can also create a data connection to the library and search for the max number or find the file already and validate the name is the same.
Probably the best thing is to not create the file name in the data connection but in your form and save it ...
