You are submitting to the data connection qRules uses to submit list items.
Your submit rule should be an action, to set a field's value. That field should be the qRules Command field. The value should be the same thing you are using in the button you had on your form that said "submit" on it -
SubmitToSharePointList ...

Oh, and I should also mention - we've disabled your forum email subscriptions because I guess the email associated with your forum profile is having delivery issues? You may want to update that email address.

Hi!
What are the postback settings on your button? Try setting to "Always" (under the control properties). Your submit button is running a rule - if you change your form's submit options to use rules, you can then set the same rules there - then the submit button in the ribbon toolbar can also be used to run your qRules commands.

Hi - I'm pretty sure for item 1 that you'll need to republish the template to specify the server you intend to upload it to. You may simply want to check that - put in http://test/ when you publish, and try to upload to http://dev/
As to question 2, the Context.xml is used by the contact selector when previewing the form - once published ...

I've already included the updated mapping in the XSN I included. But here's a copy in case you need it....

Wow - that's kind of interesting. What are the postback settings on the controls concerned? Have you tried adjusting those? I mean, because in order for the rule to fire on the textbox, the text has to have changed (which means, to the best of my understanding, the selected control will no longer be the textbox, but, in this scenario, the ...

Generally, the syntax of {number};#Text means the column is a lookup. Is the column the same type in all your lists?
I'd probably put a rule on the field that is being set - that if the field itself (after being set) contains ";#", set it the substring after the # symbol. In a lot of cases, you can shoot yourself in the foot with ...

You made this easy - thanks! I updated your mapping for the task items to include the non repeating nodes from the corp events group. Your new mappings node now looks like this:
<my:Mappings>
<my:IsRepeating>true</my:IsRepeating>

Hi -
I don't recognize your syntax - the /xpath parameter isn't used with SubmitToSharePointList... that is, if the /xpath above is something you are trying to include in the command?
However, you can certainly do this - it is just you'll need to modify your mapping XML file.
You'll map to the repeating group, but then add ...

You just need to use rules for this. Nothing fancy, no code needed.
The rule should be on the field in the main data source that is using the XML for the drop down values.
The rule needs to set the valud of your main data source field that is bound to the text box to the value of Weight from your secondary data source where the Model in the ...
