Users will sign 28 different sections. My status field is outside the data tree.

I have a 4 column repeating table. Employee, Test, Test Date, and Status. Is there a way to keep employee from repeating for multiple tests? I don't want the name repeated 5 times, if someone is taking 5 tests. Thanks,

Hi Cnristiane and welcome to our forum. If you are signing the entire data source then you will not be able to change that status field. What you have to do is move that status field outside the rest of the data tree and then only sign the subtree which needs to be locked. Then you can update the status field each time another user signs.

Now that you mention it, when I open Word 2007, the flash screen clearly says 'Beta 2,' but I'm not getting a flash screen with InfoPath (though I may never have).
