This seems right - I haven't used this exact scenario before, tho. I'll try to set up something similar in the next day or so - see what my results are. When are you running your command?

Hi, Catharine:
I'd guess that it is the xsi:nil attribute causing the issue - Insert uses sampledata.xml, which, if I recall correctly, doesn't have the nil attribute.
The SetValue command can be used to add the nil attribute (looks like this was added in v2.4) - will that work for your scenario? You'd run your insert, then ...

Could you maybe attach a sample with a bit more information on what you are trying to do? You can post a sample under the Options tab of your reply - it is just really hard for me to picture what you need to do. Thanks!

Your initial post mentioned several users with this issue - is that still the case? Do all IP forms open as Read Only for all of these users? If they created the original XML, do they still have the issue? Operating systems and versions of Office and Internet Explorer the same for all users? IE settings the same for all users?

Usually if something works in client but not browser (and everything is browser compatible) I suspect post back settings. You might try setting postback on the repeating table itself to "always" and see if that makes a difference (and, of course, make sure it doesn't impact form performance in too spectacular of a fashion).

Glad you found the setting - and thanks for posting your resolution for others!

Hi - I'd copy using CopyTable, then use Delete - what does this mean:
I tried using the Delete command afterwards, but coudn't get that to work selectively.
You added an XPath filter to your Delete command and it failed? What was the error message? What did your command look like?
