Bonjour,

Merci.

Sorry,
can't help you with your question but you need to install the InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio .NET to be able to use managed code. There is actually a link in the left frame of this forum from where you can download the too.

I have a large infopath form, which requires to be filled in by the users, but because it is long i want some kind of a panel or pane indicating as to which section the user is filling while scrolling the form. Is there a way where we can display a pane while the form is scrolling. Basically I want an Excel sheet ...

Hi RHarbeg,
I need to understand what you are trying to do better. Using two separate tables is a good design that enables flexibility down the road at the expense of more difficult layout in InfoPath (indeed, there are some things you can't do at all with two separate tables).

Hi Michael,
In the InfoPath designer, go to Tools and add a Data Connetion to Submit to SharePoint. Then, you can either add a button to your form that uses that data connection, or define a default submit (under tools menu) to use that data connection. Good luck!

Hi RHarbeg,
Best thing to do is to learn more about XPath! :) Sorry for the cheeky reply. I could look this up for you, but that wouldn't help you much because then you'd have to ask again. Better to learn about it yourself. It's not too hard, but XPath can be tricky nad you will have to structure the data correctly.

Hi Greg and welcome to our forum,
One of the limitations of property promotion in Sharepoint is that you can't promote a collection of items. The properties are a flat table, so if you are trying to promote repeating items under one column in that table, it doesn't work. You can concatenate values into a string, but this isn't very useful.
This ...
