If they are set as Submit buttons, they will use whatever your Submit Options are set to. If you change them to use Rules and Custom Code, you can just add a rule to submit to a data source and select the appropriate submit data connection.

Well, it sounds as if your field with the dropdown bound to it may not be a string datatype. Can you paste the formula you are using to set the value of the Phone, for example? Click the box that says "edit Xpath" first, so I can see the full XPath? Or just attach your template to a reply, under the Options tab.

Well - InfoPath can submit to SQL - but I'm not sure if it is going to let you combine two databases for its data source.

If that is the case, what version of InfoPath (including service pack) are you using?

The missing ID numbers are standard InfoPath behavior, believe it or not. I mention it at the end of this blog post. You'll find more info here.
But I wonder if I'm not reading your right - is your command actually failing to execute from InfoPath? That is, you aren't getting data in the table at all from this? In that case, again at ...

The command is supposed to remove the attachment after populating the qRulesLink and qRulesFilename nodes. Are you seeing any errors in the Qdabra Rules error node?
