I am still very new to Infopath, however I have successfully (Thanks Hillary!!! for the repeating table information and the rest of the team for the branding information) been able to create an awesome form with some repeating table data that is added when the form is submitted. I want to take this a step further and use a repeating section but ...

Thanks for the suggestion. I reworked the form so there is no longer a need to pass that information to the existing file. Thanks so much for all your help, I am really enjoying infopath and learning what I can do with it.

If this has been asked before, I have not been able to find it so here goes.
This is my scenario -
I have a request form. The employee field is a people picker and I have the manager populating from that information. I would like to have a drop down list that gets populated with the names of the next 2 managers in the hierarchy. This will ...

I have a request form with 4 views. The main view is what the employees see first when they go to the form. They can choose from New, Replacement or Update. If they choose 'New', it takes them through the process of completing the form to request a new badge. If they select Replacement or Upgrade it will take them through the same ...

That is correct. I have it working now. My row had 2 columns and it wasn't populating the second column but I have that working also. I have however added a 3rd column. Should I populate the 3rd column the same way I populated the 2nd column by triggering it when the first column is populated?

You might want to make sure you reference this fact in any training that you give that goes over the 'chrome' lab. It wasn't made clear to us ...

You are correct. We are using SharePoint 2010 sp1
I figured out another way to do this using picture buttons, but there is one slight problem. I want the header to be the same on each view. I can either insert a picture, which means there will be that additional picture on each view making the form larger, or I can use a very large picture ...

It was a training that Qdabra gave, but they have this on their site which is the same thing.

Here is an image of what I am talking about. The picture on the left is what it looks like in Infopath and in the preview. The picture on the right is what it looks like when ...

I also uploaded the chrome sample that was included in the lab (training) to see what it looked like and it does the same thing. The images do not display.

I followed the lab for the 'chrome' settings to make my form nicer and created a banner and some tabs. I followed the instructions for getting those into the form by editing the .xsf. They display beautifully in the preview in Infopath 2010, however when I publish the form (administrative style) and then upload it as a content type it ...
