I had IP 2007 installed and know that both cannot be installed at the same time with the issue that you cannot install .net support under infopath 2010 if 2007 is installed. So I ... Posted to General (Forum) by cyberdog on 11-23-2010 "parameter is incorrect" error when adding submit to web service I am getting an error "The parameter is incorrect" when trying to open a form after publishing it using msi install. It is full trust form. This happens only when I try to add a submit to web service. When I remove the submit to web service, everything is OK. It is strange since I can add the web service submit with no issues. I tried to ... Posted to General (Forum) by cyberdog on 05-06-2010 Re: inkpicture base64 save to sql server image I have a new issue. I changed the data types in the sql database to varchar(max) from image data type. I use a schema from Visual Studio that maps the sql fields and create an xsd file. I use this file as the basis for the InfoPath form. When I changed the main data source in InfoPath, I get an error on the ink picture controls that says the ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdog on 04-16-2010 Re: inkpicture base64 save to sql server image OK. thanks. I was just looking into the SSRS side to see if they handle base64 data. This makes it much easier for me not to worry about it in infopath. Also, we were storing the data image data type. Maybe it is better to use nvarchar(max) instead to store the inkpictures. Thanks again. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdog on 04-16-2010 inkpicture base64 save to sql server image I have a problem that is bothering me. I have embedded inkpicture controls on a form that is encoded to base64 in the xml. I am going to use a web service to submit the form to a sql server 2005 database. I need to save the base64 data to an image data type in sql server as an image so that a SSRS report can view the images. How do I do that? It ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdog on 12-02-2008 Re: filter a database connection based on another field Yes, I thought of that but the problem is that the field already exists in online database and I cannot change it to a number field. If this is the only way to do it, then I will have to add a new field to the database. There is no way to create a formula to look at the field and convert it to a number? thanks! Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdog on 12-02-2008 filter a database connection based on another field I looked and didn't see an answer to my question. I have a text field with a value of FL, GA, or PR. I have another field that is based on an external database connection. I need to filter the data based on the state field. However, the database connection has a field that is a number 1= FL, 2= GA, and 3 = PR. How do I write a formula or ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdog on 12-02-2008 Re: error to expose dataset from webservice One more thing I forgot to add is that I do not want to retrieve any data for the infopath form. I only want to use the receive web method to get the schema for the form. I do not know if the above code is the best for this or not. I also have another dilemma. I cannot use a direct database connection to retrieve my schema because image ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by cyberdog on 08-06-2008 error to expose dataset from webservice Hello. I am trying to do a simple receive dataset webmethod to receive the schema for my infopath form. I first tried to do it based on a direct sql server 2005 database connection, but found out that infopath 2007 does not support image (ink picture) types from databases and I need to use a web service. That sucks, by the way. So I looked at msdn ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by cyberdog on 08-06-2008 Page 1 of 2 (17 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
