  • Re: Repeating Table - Displaying Current Data and Prior Data

That makes sense, I am able to add additional fields to the original form, so I can create a PreviousAmount field, do a query for the old data and then store it into the new field. Only thing would mean I would have to go back to the original forms and resubmit them to populate those fields, but it isn't a big deal in my case as we're only ...

  • Repeating Table - Displaying Current Data and Prior Data

Hi, I'm trying to do a report that pulls data entries stored in a Sharepoint Library. I've managed to get this working, but it is being requested that the Prior Month's data is pulled for each category as well. I've created a 2nd data source to pull in the same information but with the Month - 1. So for example, if I wanted to ...

Ah! Awesome, I've never seen that option before. Thanks! I'll look into it more, but this looks like what I'm looking for.

Is there a way to do that in the value formula? I have the data filtered using a formatting rule "[Date From] [Date]" and the [Average Field] formula is just "avg(Answer1)". Can a filter condition be added to the formula like... avg(Answer1,where([Date From] [Date]))? (I also just realized that my formatting for my ...

  • Calculate Fields - Ignore Hidden

I have a Sharepoint Library where users submit a survey. The Library contains numbers and a submission date. I'm creating a report that queries the library and has rules that hides survey entries based on a "Date From" and a "Date To" field. The report then takes the data and calculates an average, but it averages the ...

  • Concat Repeating SQL Data

Hey there, I feel like this question has been asked and answered already, but I couldn't really find anything. I'm looking to concat two dataFields pulled in from SQL into a single text field. It's simply grabbing a Site and their Comments all into one field, but the two fields are repeating data. When I try and do a standard ...

  • Re: Repeating Table - Sort - Code Newb

Really? I didn't know that... I don't even think I saw an option to install samples or not. I'll check it out again, thanks!

  • Repeating Table - Sort - Code Newb

Hello, I was wondering about Sorting a Repeating Table. I've searched through the forum and I've seen code and such about the "Asset Tracking" sample (I don't have this sample, but someone posted a piece of the code), but I've never actually touched the programming side of Infopath. I was wondering if anyone could show me ...

  • Re: Default/Conditional Value in Repeating Tables

Ahh, I worked out my issue, and it was a lot simpler than I thought. All I had to do was create a filter while summing the "AmountMade" section. The formula turned out to be sum(AmountMade[./Name != 'Bob']), and it turned out that my problem was in the fact that my old formula didn't have the ./ for the name... Funny how ...
