  • Re: Visual Studio / breakpoints

The first thought that comes to mind is... Make sure you truly have your Configuration set to Debug (Build --> Configuration Menu...). I know you mentioned above that you do, but that gets me everytime after deploying in Release. If that doesn't work, try Cleaning your project (right-click your project file name in Solution Explorer and ...

  • Submitting to Form Library

Has anyone came across this article on Microsoft's site? http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/assistance/HP011093021033.aspx Has anyone tried it? The Submit from a data connection doesn't ''just work'' for me. I wonder if anyone else has had an ''easy'' experience with it. Check out the article and let me know - maybe I'm overlooking something in ...

  • Re: Custom List Or Form Library Integration? Advice?

I thought I'd add more to this topic to let it evolve further. The things that I am trying to achieve are this: - The Form must have category specific security (as stated above) - The user must be able to enter Rich-Text content in one of the controls (a bit tricky with a custom list and managed code) - The user must be able to click on ...

  • Signing Form Full Trust With Certificate

I am needing to select a specific certificate that is provided by my organization to Sign My Form. But, it is not an available selection when I go to Select Certificate in the Form Options --> Security --> Select Certificate tab. I can see it in my Browser IE --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Content --> Certificates... Trusted ...

  • Re: Custom List Or Form Library Integration? Advice?

AndersR, thanks for your input. dlgross, because the security roles are tied to each category that defines the document. For example: Sally Jane has Contributor rights to Category Alpha The Form will dynamically react (disable/enable) upon Category Selection by the user. Unless I'm missing something I don't believe Sharepoint provides that ...

  • Re: Possible To Publish Managed Code w/ VS2005?

Virgul, That was exactly the problem - the end users didn't have the correct Framework installed (2.0) - I assumed they had read the requirements. Thanks for the heads up.

  • Possible To Publish Managed Code w/ VS2005?

Is it possible to Publish an InfoPath solution from within Visual Studio 2005 into a Sharepoint Form Library? I am attempting it and the users are getting an error that the Format of dll file is invalid. It works fine on my box (development). I have the Form Security Level set to Full Trust and I sign the form before Publishing it. [update] ...

  • Custom List Or Form Library Integration? Advice?

I need help in figuring this out for my current project. I keep going back and forth on how I want to create my InfoPath solution. I pretty much have settled on a Managed Code VS2005 solution. The requirements are we want a tight integration with Sharepoint. At first we tackled it from the angle of establishing a Custom List and maintaining it ...
