Signing Form Full Trust With Certificate

I am needing to select a specific certificate that is provided by my organization to Sign My Form. But, it is not an available selection when I go to Select Certificate in the Form Options --> Security --> Select Certificate tab. I can see it in my Browser IE --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Content --> Certificates... Trusted Root Certification Authorities & Trusted Publishers. I see that the Personal Certificates are the ones showing up for me to Select in InfoPath.

So, how do I get the ones from the other tabs in my Personal or available for me to select inside Infopath?

    Thank You!

    Hi,

For sign a document you need a code signing certificate!

    Not a client certificate!

It's the same things for a certificat client but when you insert your personnal data you have a dropdown directly under and you need to chage to code signing certificate and this will appear in infopath!

Thanks Virgul for your reply. However, I'm either not getting it or am not able to recreate what you are saying. I appreciate your help though.

    Okay

have you create a certificate with your certificate authorities (onhttp://yourserveur.com/certsrv)?

What I think is that you have only define your certificate authorities as trusted but it's not all that you have to made!

What you need now is made a certificate for your PC!

Like I say go on your CA http://yourserveur.com/certsrv):
click the second link (ask a certificat) next page the last (ask for an advanced certificat) next page the first link(create or submit...).

Enter your personnnal data in the type listebox select code signing certificate and under don't touch and click next. You have ask for your certificate know. a requested ID is give keep it!

Now go on your server and start de certificate authorities in control panel. A windows appear go on waiting certificate select the certificate (ID) right click all task and deliver. Now your certificate is create and you need to install on your computer!

Now go on your computer go onhttp://yourserveur.com/certsrv and click the third link (Show status and pending certificate) you certificate must appear on the next page click on it for install. When that is gone your certificate is ready to use in infopath simply go in infopath in Form Options --> Security --> Select Certificate tab and your certificate must appear!

    Thanks Virgul,

I contacted my network administrator and with the help of your instructions was able to create a certificate for myself. All is good on the Trusted Front now.
