I want to see if I can change it to a formula to say what is in the name section of the row. Do you think I can do that? Thanks, Jayson. Only the second two of those three columns. Whatever, as long as it works. Thanks, Jay. I've put in the info but it doesn't translate out into the table. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Jayson_dear33 on 11-21-2014 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem You're great. Thanks. Still not one hundred percent obviously but I think just going through the process i'll figure it out. So- I've made a set of an Items folder if that makes any sense to you. I've inputted "caramelized onions" into the default value but when I try to do the "2 oz. portion it doesn't show up ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Jayson_dear33 on 11-21-2014 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem I have read over your instructions a couple hundred times :). So before you did anything on the form (to make that table) you went to the template? Or did you select a repeating table first and then go to the template? When I select default values when I have selected the 8 column table I have made, all the fields I've made are checked. I ... What I understand is that I will have to input all of the data into a new type of table (repeating table). I tried to re-do what you did with that table and I can't seem to. For one, I don't know what Xpath is. That's what I saw when I looked at the properties under the first ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Jayson_dear33 on 11-21-2014 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem Ok good point. I will probably make changes to the names of the fields. I'm very interested in how to use the repeating schema as I have a lot of fields that need that format. I don't know if it is difficult or easy but if you could point me in a general direction I can probably figure it out. Is it similar to a "style" or ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Jayson_dear33 on 11-20-2014 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem So I have run into a problem. The purpose of this form is to be viewed in PDF form after completed. The colors do not show up on the pdf once it has been generated from the form host (Formotus). Hopefully that makes sense to you. What I'm asking is if there's a way to make those colors show once the form has been submitted.
