Reply Contact You're great. Thanks. Still not one hundred percent obviously but I think just going through the process i'll figure it out. So- I've made a set of an Items folder if that makes any sense to you. I've inputted "caramelized onions" into the default value but when I try to do the "2 oz. portion it doesn't show up once I've pressed "OK". Same thing applies for the A.R.T. column. Also, how do you put another folder of that "Item". Its a repeating table but how do I easily make another set? Surely it has to be easier then re-inputting another set. 11-21-2014 09:00 AM In reply to Jayson_dear33 Joined on 11-19-2014 Posts 15 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Just click the plus by each repeating item in the default values, then click on each field you want to enter a default for and type in the default. The "OK" button will close the dialog, so don't click it till you are done. :) Hilary Stoupa 11-21-2014 12:33 PM In reply to Jayson_dear33 Joined on 11-19-2014 Posts 15 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem help 3.png Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Attached is the menu I'm on. I've put in the info but it doesn't translate out into the table. 11-21-2014 12:40 PM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact You need to add multiple instances of the Item group, then in each instance, set the individual Utensil fields. I'm sorry, I don't know how else to explain it - does looking at the defaults in the sample I sent earlier help at all? Reply Contact It works in preview mode only for some reason. Only the second two of those three columns. Whatever, as long as it works. Thanks, Jay. 11-25-2014 08:49 AM In reply to Jayson_dear33 Joined on 11-19-2014 Posts 15 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Hilary, quick question- Is there any way to change the name of the 'Item' in the default values list. I want to see if I can change it to a formula to say what is in the name section of the row. Do you think I can do that? Thanks, Jayson. 11-25-2014 08:59 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Drop down menu conditional formatting problem Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Maybe try setting it to a default formula in the data source task pane? See if that overrides the entries you have in the default data?
