All im trying to do is generate an email from a form where multiple attachments may be entered. For the person working the email in accounting, with as few clicks as possible, i was trying to get a link to the saved attachment so they could pull it up straight from the email for viewing. Im not sure i like the way im saving the attachments to a ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by dogbyte on 12-29-2014 any way to split a merged string value from a repeating table? using qRules trial to save attachments to a separate sharepoint list, but unless you merge the qRulesLink, you only get the first/last/count value of the fields. There must be a way i can filter the links to separate URL's? it would even be ok with me if the attachments remained inside the form, but still have the promoted field ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by dogbyte on 12-19-2014 question about how to deploy multiple forms from the same location I will admit im new to infopath, and sharepoint, so i really dont know what the best practice might be for our intended use. We have forms that we'd like to pile together in a list that is groups by folders, HR...Accounting...Managers... ect... If i make webforms, what are my options? will it depend on whether or not i want to save each ... Go figure. I have no idea what that did, same form, same code, but it now works in the web. thought i'd report back in case anyone else came across this issue. The User Information List should be a service available if you start the data connection wizard with your site.sharepoint.com URL, THen choose the User Information List service, then choose the fields you want to pull in ... Wondering now if you have to turn it on first. What i have also tried, was removing the Odata connections, and adding the list connections via the data connection wizard, setup a few phone fields to calculate ... Posted to General (Forum) by dogbyte on 12-16-2014 Re: creating a data connection to a sharepoint 2013 list (a list that has a few lookup columns in it) I can successfully populate the drop downs by creating separate Sharepoint list data connections through the wizard, but not through Odata connections, it breaks while trying to grab the list data in the web form with the error above, works fine in the preview, i dont get it. Then if the user wants to edit in the draft view, they can choose that after opening the document from the library. Although we usually edit our existing rows in the quick edit view from the library, instead of pulling up the entire ...
