• SharePoint 2016 and Infopath Web form issue - anyone else?

I've opened a ticket with Microsoft and it has been closed as a bug with no ETA on resolution. It's been months now since it was closed and I am questioning whether the use of external item pickers in Infopath web forms is that odd of use case? It works fine in SP2010 and SP2013 but not in SP2016. Does anyone else here use Infopath web ...
See http://www.programnetinc.com/tips for no-code solution to enable spell check on InfoPath browser forms.
Does this work in SharePoint 2010? I see on the page it specifically mentioned SharePoint 2013

  • Re: SubmitToSharePoint DateField to secondary form

Thanks for the help! I have this working now. The biggest problem seems to be that I had a "Date" field on one form, and a DateTime on the other. Once I converted the Date to a DateTime, then added a hidden text field that used that value to convert it to text to populate the secondary form the value was recognized correctly on the ...

  • Re: SubmitToSharePoint DateField to secondary form

Sure! Attached is the form I am working with. The secondary data source "New_Employee_Form" is a 'preview' XML file from another form - I looked in that file and don't see the datatype being specified anywhere. I did edit that preview file like the Youtube video showed and made sure it pointed to the actual template file ...

  • SubmitToSharePoint DateField to secondary form

I followed this video (Submit part of a form to a separate SharePoint Library - October 17, 2013 Webinar): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11PH0NOZ7sc&list=PL581899A129522F53 I have a form that I need to submit a bunch of the fields to a different form. The webinar above was exactly what I needed. I have it creating the form now by ...

  • Re: Populating a Choice field with SubmitToSharePointList

Thanks for the response!  I don't think this is the desired result, I'll try to do a better job explaining the form (sorry for being vague earlier). I want all these values going into a single list item.  In the SharePoint list, I have a 'Choice' column called "Request Type".  That has 28 different options ...

  • Populating a Choice field with SubmitToSharePointList

I am using qRules 4.2 (great product by the way)!  I am working on a single form that will submit service requests to our applicable service departments. These requests are housed in different lists within SharePoint, SubmitToSharePointList to the rescue!  I've got most of it working but I've hit a brick wall.  For one of ...

  • Re: Infopath Form or workflow to populate External Data column type in SharePoint list?

In the off chance this bubbles up in someone else searches...  I ended up ditching the idea of using the external data column linked to the form.  I simply created a secondary data connection in the form and stamped the values from the external list into promoted text columns in the form library for each record.  I got closer with ...

  • Infopath Form or workflow to populate External Data column type in SharePoint list?

Does anyone know if it is possible to populate an 'External Data' type column from InfoPath 2010 OR a SPD workflow?  I have added an external column to a list and if I manually set the value it populates all the cascaded columns just fine.  I can't get that primary column to populate though through a workflow or  bind it ...
