If you click the button, does it work OK? Does it change the name of the submitter too? Posted to General (Forum) by joannewellings42 on 07-24-2012 Re: Multiple Conditions to "un-Disable" control I think you've nearly done it... I think you need AND instead of OR between the brackets of your long expression. You need all the bits in brackets to be true (by being not true) to hide the control. The backwards conditional formatting in InfoPath gives me a headache! Posted to General (Forum) by joannewellings42 on 07-23-2012 Re: Submitter and Reviewer shows the same name The thing that might be happening is that if you're using the same data connection to get both values, that it is overwritng anything you do to set the value of the reviewer. It's hard to say without seeing it. Are you able to attach it here to have a look at please? Posted to General (Forum) by joannewellings42 on 07-23-2012 Re: Submitter and Reviewer shows the same name Is there a way you can use a rule to set the Reviewer name, rather than using default value? If possible, you could attach your form here and I'll have a look. I've had a problem with these values before, which I've fixed by making sure that the field values are set by rules so they cannot be changed by refreshing. If it wasn't a repeating table, you could do it with workflows, just creating a list item and setting the field values. The inbuilt Visual Studio for applications isn't too daunting, certainly less complex than Visual Studio proper. Do you have any coding experience ... I do not use the digital signing function and I think it's easier to create your own version within the form. Would you consider doing that? I could probably dig out a generic example if you'd like. And then are you setting the field values by using "Default Values"? Posted to General (Forum) by joannewellings42 on 07-23-2012 Re: date format You can do this using the OP's method with substrings. Try: concat(Type, " - Effective Date:", concat(substring(Effective_Date, 6, 2), "/", substring(Effective_Date, 9, 2), "/", substring(Effective_Date, 1, 4))) Posted to General (Forum) by joannewellings42 on 07-23-2012 Re: "Not compatible with browser" but Design Checker shows no errors? (2007) I've got it working, but I have no idea how or why this has fixed it. On the form there is a button called Get Details in the Manager details section. I deleted that button and opened Logic Inspector. It was working correctly. Saved and published fine. Did Ctrl + Z to put the button back. Logic inspector OK, saved and published totally ...
