The ones I could find online are a bit rubbish and are all the same. If anyone has any suggestions for questions, with associated answers, please let me know. Thanks. As I couldn't see what it was doing (it didn't seem to bring the costs from 3.3 to 3.6). Thanks for your help so far. Edit: it could be my fault, when I open the file, it's showing the location as the location of the original file. So I think it may be opening the old ... But, I don't need a total of the values that will be entered into field235. For each option (i.e. a new section in the repeating section), I need to take the total (field235) and insert it into the corresponding row in the table in Section 3.6. E.g. the total cost for option 1 (from Section 3.3) ... Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 04-26-2010 Get data from repeating section field into another field Hi, I have created a form (attached) to allow users to submit business cases. Section 3.3 is a repeating section which holds costs data. Users can insert a new section to allow them to enter costs for a number of different possible options. Is it possible to get the total cost for an option (field235) and insert it into the ... Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 04-26-2010 Re: Clicking on read only field selects section Hi, thanks for that, it seems to solve the problem. I'm just wondering, if I surround all my repeating tables with new sections, will I then have to go and update all my formulas to reflect this? Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 03-23-2010 Clicking on read only field selects section In my form I have a number of sections. When filling in the form, if a user accidentally clicks on a read only field, the section it's in is selected and the form jumps to the top of the section. Is there any way to stop this happening? Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 03-16-2010 Re: IF statement using repeating table columns That's very strange, I had that in the formula originally but then removed it during my trial and error. But it seems to work now, thanks. Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 03-16-2010 Re: IF statement using repeating table columns Thanks for your help so far. I'm still having a little trouble with this though. No matter what I select in the drop down, 'Met' is only ever displayed. If you're willing to take a look, I've attached the form and the part in question is 3.4. Posted to General (Forum) by dunc85 on 03-16-2010 Re: IF statement using repeating table columns That looks like it will fit the bill nicely, thanks. Would you mind explaining how you did it, as I had a look but couldn't find anything. Edit: have just noticed you used conditional formatting, but feel free to still give an explanation.
