    receiving data form access DB

    I would like to create info path for submiting and receiving data to and from access database.

    I tried to create infopath doc with which contains all data from DB and ID. When I entered ID, DB should retreive data if record with requested ID exists or to enable entering new ID, but DB always return me the first record from DB.

     Can someone help me with this?

    Hello

    Try this code on onclick event

     try

    {

    DataObject adapter = (DataObject)thisXDocument.DataObjects["DataAdpterName"];

    adapter.Query();

    }

    catch (Exception ex)

    {

    thisXDocument.UI.Alert(ex.ToString());

    }

     

    'DataAdpterName' is the DB dataconnectionname.

    Give this tutorial from Office Online a try... It walks through creating a new form from a database as well as querying, submitting, etc.
