    FormControl enabling Ink entry mode

     Hi Folks,

Ink entry mode is one of the Infopath features which is not available in the FormControl object. Could anyone suggest me a way to the make ink awareness possible? Is it possible to have customized infopath control which would enable inking in the Formcontrol or will microsoft have this feature enabled in the near future.

Guys I have tried finding it on net but could not find anything closely relevant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

     Thanks in advance

Ink support is only available on clients which have XP tablet edition or in Vista, which supports ink.

     It cannot be enabled otherwise.

I have checked this on a Tablet PC with XP Tablet Edition- the ink entry is not enabled. The FormController allows the infopath form to open as part of the application and not a separate Infopath Process (If the Infopath application is used to open the infopath form the Ink entry is enabled). The Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form editing environment can be hosted in a custom Windows Form application by using the FormControl.
