I have created in Infopath 2003 SP 1 a created a repeating table in which I placed a text box and set the format to time. later on I changed this to a text box. At first the text boxes continued to act as though they were still collating data as time, I deleted them and replaced them only to find that the format still appears on the repeating table any ideas?

What is the data type on the field bound to the text box? If you look in the Main Data Source in the Data Source Pane, and right click on the field that is connected to the text box, you'll be able to see the data type.

 The data type was initialy set to Time then I changed it to Text (String) which no effect until I deleted the Text box and then recreated them.

If we changing the data type from Time to String then no need to delete existing time text box and adding text box again in that place.

I tried this in my form but I am not able get any error for this. Can you give more details on it as you might be doing some thing else?

I orignal created this form for travel, on there is a repeating table with 2 text boxes orignal set to time but then I changed to text later on and found I had to delete them and recreate them to get the boxes to act like text boxes. This appered to work however when the table repeats the below text boxes are showing the time as they did orginally.

Thanks for the helphowever it appears to have resolved itself, I am sure what happened bu thanks for the advice anyway on another topic I am trying to find a way of creating an editable email when I click on a button. Is there anyway of achieving this?
