Blank row shows in list box-secondary data connection to XML file

I have a list box getting data from a secondary connection that is pulling the data from the following xml file. The list box is showing the data fine, but it has a blank row at the top (implying that there is another item to click on). Is there something I should change in my xml file, or is this just the way the List Box control works in IP 2007?

    Hi,

Yes, the list box works like the way you have mentioned(showing a blank row) for secondary connections.

    Hi,

You cannot remove the blank value from dropdown. But you can set the default value to show the xml value instead of blank value. In this case blank value will be displayed in the dropdown but by default first value will be selected when you open new form.

    1. Go to data source in the task pane and Double click on dropdown field.
    2. Select Fx button for Default value.
    3. Select Insert field or group.
    4. Select secondary xml from data source.
    5. Select “value” and click on ok.
