    InfoPath Query

Sometime back I stumbled across a way to create an InfoPath form that would query a SQL database that was populated by another InfoPath form. Unfortunately I have been unable to duplicate that effort nor find the reference via a web search.

This what I want to do.

I need to be able to query a SQL database an return only the data from a handful of the data fields. It needs to allow a user to input a date range and display the results. For example, a user inputs date A and date B and runs the query. The query will only return data limited to the date range.

     I appreciate any help...

    Dave

    Hello,

How you are getting the values from database using select statement or stored procedure? Depends on using the code you have to change in button click event, pass the date A and date B values and query data from database.

Haven't decided yet. Like I said I'm very green in this area and don't know the pros or cons of one way or the other. I wouldn't mind exploring both ways.

    Thanks, Dave
