Web Service: Repeating Request Field, unable to insert multiple rows

    Hi,

I am dealing with a web service in which the input field is a repeating field.  I add the data connection into InfoPath and when I insert the field into the form and preview, it will not allow me to insert rows.

I should note that my form is being originally designed from a blank datasource.  I tried to create a new form based on a web service with the "Submit and Receive" function, and the problem is gone there!

The basic function is so a sales rep can look up multiple quote IDs at once, and get responses that match multiple IDs entered.  I have tried setting the minOccurs and maxOccurs to different values within the WSDL, but nothing changes when I insert the control as a repeating table in InfoPath.

Has anyone heard of this?  Is there a property I can assign to the field in my WSDL that will allow me to manipulate the number of rows I get in InfoPath?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

If your web service connection is secondary you will not get the repeating node to insert new row. If you want to add new nodes then we have can do this from code. Otherwise you have to take the web service connection as main.

While taking the connection it will try to execute first time. You will get the repeating node property when you have repeating nodes in your source file. If you have single node data in retrieving xml you will not get the repeating node schema for that connection.
