Hi

From my infopath form I need to Open Outlook and open an email for editing.  The email needs to be prepopulated with some information from my InfoPath form. For example the To, the Copy To and the subject.

My user then wants to be able to tweak the information.

Has any one done this ?  Got some code to help ? (My coding ability is very limited.)

Hey Catharine.

Typically this can be really simple.

Just use a mailto hyperlink.

You can lookup all of the parameters for a "mailto:" but you can put subject, to, cc, body etc.

This can work really well to generate an email template from a button click.

Otherwise you would need to use code if you have a need which is more elaborate.
