I have an infopath form that contains a repeating tables. The repeating table contains 3 columns Equipment Name, Manufacturer, Model. It is possible that the user has multiple pieces of equipment, which is why I use the repeating table. When the form is completed and submitted by the user, the resulting xml document is contained in a document library. When I use the standard or advanced sharepoint search, it does not return any search results if the search term being queried on is not found in the first row of data in the repeating table. For example, if a user added 2 rows of data with row 1 having a manufacturer name of DELL and row 2 having a manufacturer name of APPLE, if the user performed a Search for DELL, the xml document would appear in the search results, but if that user had searched for APPLE, the search results would be empty. I've looked at the xml document and both entries exist in the xml document. I have changed the data so that APPLE appears in the first row of the repeating table and DELL in the 2nd row, and then Searching for APPLE does cause the xml document to be returned in the search results, but then searching for DELL returns no results. I have crawled the site since adding/updating the xml document using infopath. I would have thought that a Search would find the search term if the search term could be found anywhere in the XML document. Is this the expected behavior or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help
