InfoPath Dev

Quick detail on the situation.  Our company is using SharePoint and in my department we have 3 different document libraries with a total of about 90 forms, spreadsheets, and documents.  We also have about another 15 InfoPath web enabled forms in individual document libraries that our employees use to fill out requests, etc. 

I have a new web enabled InfoPath form that I have created where a user to logs in and first clicks on "Forms". Then on the next screen is a webpage with the "webpage" webpart linked to the before mentioned form.  On this form the user is able to select, via check boxes or radial buttons, one of three options (associated with the 3 document libraries).  Based on their seletion a drop down menu will appear, linked to one of the 3 document libraries, where they can then choose the form they are looking for.  Once the form is selected I want them to be able to hit a button which will allow them to either download the form or open in Excel or Word, whatever they choose, to fill out.  This is meant to make it a little more user friendly and clean when a user is looking for a form, instead of the somewhat cluttered docment library, and most users are not overly familiar with using views because they rarely use any of the sharepoint services.

I have the data sources set to pull the documents "Name", "Description", and a few other feilds, from the different libraries, and they are attached to a drop down menu.  However I cant figure out how to link it so that when the user selects the file they can download.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

You should use a hyperlink control.

Use a concat function on a field to create the URL between the DL path and the filename.

 Is there a way to make it where someone can select the file and then use a button to activate the event, without the use of code?  I have played around with rules, but havent found a way to do it.
