Populating drop down list box with form data

I have a date picker that I use to select the beginning of the week.  I then have a drop down list box that the user needs to select one of the days of the week(date).

How would I populate the drop down with the days dates from my form?

I am thinking maybe I would have to create an xml file, attach as resource file, and populate it in code, in an after change event on the original date picker to populate it.

If this is the route, I have no idea how to do that.  Any suggestions?

You need a list of dates probably, either inside the form, in Xml, in a SP list or whatever.

Then you would just use a filter to show the selected dat plus 6 or whatever.

Well thought i had a game plan, but now back to scratching my head.  I figured as the user selected a date, the dates of the days would be saved into 7 different text boxes(as i need to display those dates as well).  So I would then save those seven into an xml file and then use the xml file as the datasource for the drop down list box.

I got that to work making a program in visual studio 2005(vb.net).  But now starting to piece it back together into infopath I am running into hurdles.

Any suggestions about saving the text box contents into the xml file?

     Thanks again.
