    SQL Profiler

Lately, I was noticing that my form was pulling ALOT of data across the line when opening a form. I opened SQL Profiler to see what was going on. I found that the form is pulling a single record from the main table but pulls all records from the related tables.  The form only shows the related records so I don't understand why its querying for all of them.

I created a new form really quick to see if it would happen and it was doing the same thing.

The main data connection consists of a main table and 4 releated tables.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, does anyone have a solution? Could it be a SQL Server configuration issue, or is it an InfoPath form issue?

    Hey George.

This is the default behavior of a Database type form.  They are limited. You can only query one group of tables and all children are returned by default.

With webservices you can have much greater control and performance.
