I recently tried to repair my DBXL installation and in doing so it got corrupted. I could neither remove it nor repair it and I was stuck. In case someone encounters the following error while installation
"An exception occured while uninstalling. This excepion will be ignored and the uninstall will continue. However, the application might not be fully uninstalled after the uninstall is complete --> The saved State dictionary contains inconsistent data and might have been corrupted"

Please make sure you go to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\QdabraWebService\install\Qdabra.Dbxl.Installer.InstallState. and replace this file with a good one, or use the code given in the post above. That is change the code within the above file with that given in the post. best would be to get a new file and replace your old file.
One can then proceed to remove the earlier Qdabra installation by going to the Add/Remove programs in the control panel. Once this is done re install DBXL and it works fine
