Can XDocument.GetDOM("datasource") be used on a primary datasource? I keep getting an error.

 A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed. The DataObject "Main" does not exist.

 If I can't use it on a main how do I acomplish my task.  If it can what might I be doing wrong?

Use "XDocument.DOM" to access Primary Datasource , XDocument.GetDOM("secondary data source name");
