    Infopath form refresh

I want to create an infopath form that looks up to data in Navision tables.

I know that you can set up an infopath form to refresh upon opening, but if I have a view of infopath forms and the data changes in navision is there any way to update the infopath form (and there by updating the view) without having to open the form?

    Hi Edove,
You can add a button called "Refresh" and add a rule to it to refresh the data connection.
Just look at the functionality available in the button rules and you will get to know how to do it.

Hi edove - It is customary in these forums to only post your question once. Double posting is unnecessary and splits the threads making it difficult for people to research an issue. Your duplicates have been removed.

Sorry Greg, wasn't sure where would be the best place to put the question.

Agni, do you mean a button in the infopath form? If so, this is not really what I want.

If the data in Navision changes and there are fields in the infopath forms that look up to that data and display it in a view, I want the view to be refreshed without having to manually open and refresh each form.

Ok I think now I got your problem, there is no way that Forms will look into updates in your Navision changes and update themselves without opening the forms.
Only thing that can help you doing this you writing a tool that updates the forms with the new data.
