On my form what i did was (if similiar to yours) I have textboxes and checkboxes and you can have what other controls on there if you have others, where the users will fill out. At the bottom of my view I have a button where I use the rule to "switch view" to the next view but all the textboxes, checkboxes, and etc have to be filled in.The way I did this is, on the button where I used the rule to switch views, I set condition. For example, if you have checkboxes your condition(s) should look like this.
(the name of the checkbox) is equal to (True) or
(the name of the checkbox) is equal to (True) or
(the name of the checkbox) is equal to (True) or and so on. If you have more than 5 checkboxes, you will have to add another action and do it again. Also if you have to do it again you need to check the checkbox at the bottom of the Rule box where you add the conditions that says "stop processing rules when this rule finishes"
If you have a textbox it you add on the button that switches views to the next view,
(the name of the textbox) is not blank (the next dropdown will become blank where you can not select anything),- then add another action, give it a name, tell it to switch views to the same view that it is on and it should look like this.
(the name of the textbox) is blank (the next dropdown will become blank where you can not select anything)
if it is a dropdown, do the same as the textbox but give the name of the dropdown field. - I also forgot to mention that you have to give it a name for the condition in your checkbox when you add a action.
if you need anymore assistant with this issue email me at [email protected], it is connected with my phone. if you ask me a question back on here, I may not see it again but I will post it back on here so others can see it too.
