InfoPath Dev

hello all

 I'm new dev in Infopath, i'm using infopath 2007. I got some probs. I have a list in SharePoint and I connected it to Multiple Selection listbox, it's showed. I have a checkbox "a" with boolean value. How can I check some value in Multiple selection listbox, and the checkbox "a" will be checked or unchecked.

Hi Dai - Welcome.

So you want to select multiple items in a multilist check box and then have a rule which does an action on each check?

You may want to start with a single dropdown and have a rule which sets a checkbox field to true.

You could put this in a repeating table and get the ability to select each item individually.

I have not tried a multiple check box, but you would need the ability to put the selected repeating data into a repeating node or filter what was checked to find if A had been selected.

I tried it, but i dont think repeating table can read the datasource that i connected to SharePoint List.

I have a list in SharePoint. that list have been connected to Multiple Selection List box. and the item in list would be showed

I have another check box with the name is "validate".

I want to check some value in Multiple selection listbox, ex : check 1,2,3 , and checkbox "validate" auto checked, when i uncheck 1 or 2 or 3, the checkbox "validate" auto unchecked.

If you are just trying to set a check bow true or false based on whether any items have been checked in your control I woul think this could be done via rules.

I have not really used multiple check boxes to know how to test if they have a selection or not. If I have time I will play with it some.
