There should not be a problem.

As long as a computer or user has access to the file to read it and InfoPath they can open it in design mode.

You can make a copy of the form to the 2nd computer, right click and design.

You would need right permissions on the published location to publish the form and update it.

     Hi Clay

The folder where I published the form has write permission and it still does not work on any other worstation. The form worked fine until we had a harddrive crashed on the server and we had to buy the new Hard drive and re -install every thing especially SQL SERVER 2000.  But all the the other stuff works fine except my infopath form. After we got our data recoverd we had lots of problems with Security and permission  with other folders. I checked the folder permission and everything looks fine to me.  p;ease read below I had also posted this and i did n ot get any reply

    Hi

I had created the Infopath form in 2005 and have published to the shared folder on the Network. It was working fine.

Recently our server's harddrive got  crashed in december 2007,  We had the backup, but we had to install the new hardrive and everthing had to be reinstalled on the server, including SQL SERVER 2000. Now all the installing was taken care by my program director.

Since then i found that when users opened the form to fill it they were having problems. What I did was I republished the same form at the same location. and when i test the form it works fine on the worstation where i published it. If I go on to other worstation and test to see it wont work i get the this message Error Message "Infopath cannot create a new Blank Form, you cannot create form based on this form template because the file has been copied or moved from its published location"

Then I thought of recreated the form, created a new folder named "New Infopath" in the SHARED DOCUMENTS, and published the form in NEW FOLDER. Now the users are able to open the form but when they submit the form they get a pop up window saying

     "SQL SERVER LOGIN

    Server name is listed

there is a check box selected  which has "Use trusted Connections"

and the Login below is grayed out , if i unceck the box above then user can log in and enter the password, but still they cannot submit form we get error as

    SQL State 42000

    SQL SERVER Error 18456

If I would have clicked Cancel then it will display " Infopath cannot connect to the data source

Could any body help me as I it only works on the worstation where i published the form.

    Thanks

I would open the form in design mode and go through the data connections.  You may have used a mapped drive or something else which the other clients do not have.
