Hello,

I just made a modification to a form that is in production by adding a print header and I'm getting this error (I'm hating myself right now). I couldn't delete the print header - it will delete but when I reopen the header it's still there. Now I can't open the form - this is the error I'm getting:

The form definition (.xsf) file cannot be opened because of an error.
The file cannot be validated by the XML Schema.

Element 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/solutionDefinition}header' is unexpected according to content model of parent element 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/solutionDefinition}printSettings'.

Not so urgent - we restored a backup but I'd like to know anyone's thoughts as to why this happened.

This is some weird issue with the header/footer. If you delete what's in there, it comes back. To get around this:
A) Type a space character after deleting... then it updates the contents to the space character instead of returning the old content.

-or-

B) Extract the form files and remove the unneeded header/footer nodes from the manifest.xsf file.
