    Submitting InfoPath form to SharePoint?

    Hi,

I thought I correctly configured my submit option to the SharePoint site but it seems that users can't submit their form.  I can open and submit forms but they can't.  What's up with this?  Also, if I loaded the template on the form library, can I get it to appear on the SharePoint site so users can go directly to the form to use it?

Once you publish the form from infopath to sharepoint, you can then go to the form library on sharepoint and click new.  That will open the document for them to be filled out.  You will also have to make sure that all users are added to sharepoint as users.  Also make sure that the forms submit using unique names, or if you want forms to be over written in your dataconnection you need to allow over writting.

But this seems as if you need 'one' of these per form, is there not a way to have 'all' of the forms a user can fill out display as it does in the documents area?

     example:

     [icon] - document name

    [icon] - document name

    [icon] - document name

and then have each publish to a specific folder?

    Yes Debbie.

You could create a menu page with hyperlinks to each form template.

This cannot be done in a library but on some other page.  Each form would be set to the specific library it would submit to. That is set in the form but you do not need to go to each library and select new.  That is just a hyperlink so you can put that hyperlink anywhere.

The template always resides inside a forms folder in the library. Use explorer view to verify.

    So http://server/site/library/forms/template.xsn
