"Send to mail recipient" using VBScript

    Hi,

I have a form (which includes file attachments) which I would like to send to a mail recipient by clicking a button on the form rather than choosing the menu item.  The recipient should receive an email which has both the xml form and any other files (which were included in the form with the file attachment control) attached to their email.  I am using Infopath 2003 with vbscript code and all users have Outlook 2003 installed.

Any help to get me started will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi

If I understand you correctly, just put a file attachment on the form and a submit button that submits the form to an email supplied by yourself or the person submitting the form.

So add a data connection that submits to email in the to box, put an email address or a field that represents the email address on the form.

    That should do it.

Any questions feel free to reply

    Cheers

I tried doing as you suggested, however, the file I've attached only appears in the body of the email, I can't actually view the attached file.

I'm using InfoPath 2007 and Forms Services 2007 and trying to do something similar here. I want to have a repeating section with a file attachment control so a user can attach multiple files to the form.

Would this be something better suited to be done via Managed Code?

    Thank you in advance!
