    Forms Performance & Inconsistency

    Hi,

Refering to the above picture, i've created a browser form that calculate programme cost. The cost per participant value should have convert to decimal whenever user insert a value into the tetbox. But in this case, the value only convert to decimal after refreshing the browser several times. This happened only to a machine where there are no infopath installed in it. The problem is when I do testing in my machine (that have infopth application), it runs well. What makes me wonder is why it runs ok in my machine but have errors in other machine.

I also faced with the asterick (*) sign, that indicates the data validation will sometimes not appear  in the textbox. The arrow shows where the asterick should appear.

Could somebody describe the possibility of such error? Is the InfoPath application stable enough that can trigger this kind of error?

    Thanks.

Are you opening the browser form in Internet Explorer?  If so, what version?  Browser forms are still a relatively new technology, so I am not surprised by these somewhat small glitches.  My guess is that the client that is experiencing these problems should be updated with the latest editions of the browser and maybe .NET.
