    Enable Control After Submit

I have a control on my InfoPath 2007 form that I want disabled when the user is filling it out, but enabled after the form has been submitted so that is can be modified by another user. Any ideas on how this can  be done?

Sure- you just need a condition to trigger it. You could use a field in your form but typically I would just create a new field, Submitted boolean with a default value of false.  When the first user clicks on the button or in your submit options add a rule that sets Submitted to true.

Then put in the control's conditional formatting that if Submitted is false disable or hide.

    Thanks Clay!

I am not sure that this is going to work for me. I can't do the submitted option way because i am submitting my form to a document library so the rules button is disabled in that menu. We're on the right track, i just need another way? Any more ideas?

All you have to do is switch your submit to rules and then add your field update and then a second action which is the submit to data connection.
