    Disconnected Form - Synch Later??

In the conceptual phase of choosing a product to handle insurance enrollers in the field. Would be great if InfoPath could handle this out of the box without coding.

Is there a way to do several of these enrollments (fill out a form several times, cache data locally, disconnected dataset etc) and then submit the data later when connected? Just need a view from 40K feet.

    THANKS!!

    Welcome to the forum fluffy!

Yes this is a scenario that i have seen before.  Several different ways it can be done; Two part submit, synchronized off-line files, database backend, synchronized database.

You may want to look at the Database Accelerator if you want to be able to integrate your forms with a database easily. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

So you are saying that I can have the enrollers fill out the form multiple times while disconnected and the data can be stored until later then synched/uploaded.

    Extra questions:

    • how do I get the submit to store the data? Object/command to use?
    • what format is the data stored in and where?
    • how is the data uploaded?

    THANKS!!!!!!!!
